KAFR EL SHIEKH – 13 July 2017: Health Minister Ahmed Emad said on Thursday that 2017 is the year of reaping the fruits after the ministry had succeeded in treating more than 1.2 million patients of Hepatitis C.

This came during his visit to Kafr el Shiekh governorate where he met with Governor El Sayed Nasr, President of Kafr el Shiekh University Maged el Qamari and a number of senior officials.

The health sector in Egypt is witnessing a better phase right now especially after securing all medical equipment needed by hospitals nationwide after an agreement was signed between the Armed Forces and Germany.

During his visit, the minister also inspected the new Borg El Borollos and Sedi Ghazi hospitals. The two hospitals are expected to be inaugurated by the end of July.
