RAMALLAH - 13 July 2017: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas discussed on Thursday with US Special Envoy to the Middle East Jason Greenblatt a number of issues related to pushing forward the Mideast peace process.

Abbas received Geenblatt at Ramallah Presidential Palace and the meeting was attended by American Consul General Donald Blome.

During the meeting, Abbas expressed his full rejection of the settlement activities carried out by Israeli government as well as its provocative measures against the Palestinians.

Abbas affirmed that provocative Israeli legislations aim at cementing occupation, blocking the two-state solution and hindering US peacemaking efforts
