CAIRO – 24 April 2022: Minister of Solidarity Nivine el-Kabbag thanked celebrities and athletes who appear in advertisements of civil society organizations without remuneration during a Saturday session with the House of Representatives.

“International Egyptian player Mohamed Salah does not take a pound from us for the advertisements in which he appears,” she said.

She added that the donation money spent on advertisements is scrutinized so it does not surpass 20 percent of all donations.

Mohamed Salah recently appeared in a powerful anti-addiction advertisement by the Ministry of Solidarity. He has appeared in several similar ads in the past few years.
