Egypt's FM examines expanding joint cooperation with Malaysia's defense minister

CAIRO – 16 March 2022: Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shokry met Tuesday with Malaysian Senior Minister of Defense YB Dato' Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation, as indicated by the spokesperson on Twitter.  

 

 

That was Minister's Shokry last meeting in Malaysia before heading to Singapore within his Asian tour. The next destination will be Indonesia followed by Pakistan, where he will attend the 48th session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) to be held in Islamabad on March 22-23.

 

The chief of Egyptian diplomacy had earlier met with the Malaysia's Minister of Environment and Water Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, and Minister of International Trade and Industry Mohamed Azmin Ali.

 

Minister Shokry began the tour with delivering a message from President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi to Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob.
