Photos: President Sisi inspects road axes, industrial work in Cairo

CAIRO – 4 March 2022: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inspected on Friday the construction works of a number of roads, axes and industrial works linking east and west Cairo.

The construction works inspected by the president come within the framework of the national projects to develop the road network in Greater Cairo.

 

Sisi ordered achieving the greatest possible expansion of the new roads and axes in Cairo Governorate to ease traffic, taking into account the current and future traffic density, with the need to provide all necessary services for vehicles and citizens.

The president also inspected the executive status of the Omar Al-Mukhtar axis in the Mostorod area, an extension of the Adly Mansour axis.

He also inspected the second phase of the development of the Joseph Tito axis, which extends from the Herafeyin bridge to the Ring Road with five traffic lanes in each direction.
