On the sidelines of the CWW, Cairo Water Week Expo will be held, with the participation of 34 companies, the minister noted. The exhibition will feature modern irrigation technology, smart irrigation and water reuse methods, he added.

Cairo Water Week (CWW) is considered one of the biggest water-related events at the national, regional and international levels.

It is an annual event organized by Egypt's Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation, under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, in collaboration with national, regional and international partners.

This important event will be held at an important time, when the State is paying great attention to the file of water and placing it at the top of the political agenda.

Water is vital for sustainable economic and social development. The CWW also emanates from Egypt's pivotal regional role in the Arab and African regions.

The Week aims at reaching sustainable solutions to managing water resources to face overpopulation and global changes.
