CAIRO – 17 October 2021: ISO 9001/2005 - concerned with the quality of management systems - has been renewed for three Egyptian airports for a period of three years.

The airports are those of Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, and Borg Al Arab. The certification was renewed after revisions conducted by the issuance entity, which is SGS, in September and October.

In a similar context, Sharm El Sheikh International Airport received on August 9 the first direct Russian flight from Moscow after a six-year ban was lifted. The ban was the consequence of a plane crash over Sinai Peninsula in 2015.
