CAIRO – 5 May 2021: The Coordination Committee of Parties' Youth Leaders and Politicians (CPYP) has set a tourist program for a U.S. woman who has cancer and the dream to visit Egypt.

In a Wednesday statement, CPYP said it has contacted Dustin Vitale, the son of Gloria Vitale, telling him they would receive them at the airport. CPYP said it will set a program that matches the lifetime dream of Gloria, who “chose Egypt, the inception of history and cradle of civilization, out of the countries of the globe.” It added that Egypt welcomes all visitors with open arms.

CPYP thanked Dustin for his loyalty to his mother and being determined to fulfil her wish after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. Representatives of CPYP will accompany the family from Cairo to Sharm el-Sheikh to show them all the destinations she wishes to see.

CPYP said it also wants to encourage “noble deeds” such as Dustin’s, as well as show Egypt to the world.

Dustin is a middle school teacher in Philadelphia and was only able to raise the money needed for the trip by selling cheesesteaks.
