Coronavirus vaccination centers in Egypt operate on holidays

CAIRO – 30 April 2021: Medical centers that provide anti-coronavirus vaccines in Egypt will operate during the state’s official five-day holiday, announced Egypt’s Ministry of Health in a statement on Friday.
 
Employees in the public and private sectors will take five days off, from 29 April to 3 May, to celebrate different paid national holidays, as per a Cabinet decision. Egyptians will celebrate the Sinai Liberation Day on Thursday 29 April instead of 25 April. As per an earlier government’s decisions, mid-week vacations are celebrated on Thursdays to give employees a longer holiday.
 
Egypt recorded new 1,003 coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and 59 deaths in the past 24 hours, announced the Egyptian Ministry on Thursday evening.
 
The Ministry of Health and Population said that according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient's recovery from the Coronavirus.
 
The ministry stated that the total number of infections that was registered in Egypt thus far is 226,531cases, including 170,008 cases that have been cured, and 13,278 deaths
 
The Ministry of Health and Population continues to raise its preparations in all governorates of the Republic, follow the situation first-hand regarding the "emerging corona" virus, and take all necessary preventive measures against any viruses or infectious diseases.
 
The ministry has also allocated a number of communication means to receive citizens' inquiries about the emerging corona virus and infectious diseases. , Including the hotline "105", "15335" and the WhatsApp number "01553105105", in addition to the "Egypt Health" application available on phones
