Locals in Toukh have shown exemplary chivalry at the of the train accident in their town, with hundreds flocking to donate their blood to the victims and distributing water and meals to those still at the site at dusk when Muslims break their long fast from dawn during Ramadan.
A total of 11 people were killed and 98 injured in the Sunday derailment of a train in Toukh, the Delta, where most of the injuries are fractures and segmental wounds.
