Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his Israeli counterpart, Gabi Ashkenazi will hold talks in Cairo on Sunday, a week after Egypt-brokered ceasefire between Israelis and Palestinians went into effect.
Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received a phone call, Friday from his Israeli counterpart Gabi Ashkenazi who praised Cairo’s efforts to reach a ceasefire with the Palestinian side.
This comes as Zayani led the first-ever delegation from Bahrain to Israel, where he discussed with the Israeli side ways to boost bilateral relations and mechanisms to activate the MoUs negotiated recently between the two countries.
