Egyptian Senate elections
On August 12, the NEA announced the second round and runoff of the 2025 Senate elections. Ten candidates are competing for five individual seats, each allocated to one of the five participating governorates.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Nabil Habashi said the Foreign Ministry's operations room is continuously monitoring the progress of the Egyptian Senate elections abroad.
The Egyptian Senate elections expected to kick off, Tuesday August 11 and continue for two following days starting from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. in 14,000 sub-committees
