Egyptian NGO organizes training for Senate vote observers ‘to ensure professional monitoring’

The Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development (ECHRD) has organized a training course for observers of the Senate elections, set to be held in August, with the participation of representatives of 25 non-governmental organizations.

The National Election Authority, which is in charge of supervising the electoral process in the northeastern African country, has excluded expats in Libya, Syria, Yemen, and Somalia from voting in the August Senate elections, due to unstable conditions of these states.
