Ben Ezra Synagogue
He inaugurated the ancient hexagonal intake tower of the Cairo Citadel Aqueduct (Mamluk Aqueduct), which was operating to raise water to the top of the tower and then in channels along the aqueduct and then to the citadel.
Ben Ezra Synagogue is the oldest synagogue in Egypt and the Middle East.
This step was taken to help people around the world to commit to staying at home as a precautionary measure to confront the novel coronavirus.
