World Radiocommunication Conference
For the first time in 20 years, the conference is taking place outside the ITU headquarters, an international conference of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), a UN organization.
Secretary General of the International Telecommunication Union Houlin Zhao expressed his thanks to the Egyptian president for his offer to host the agency's World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-19).
Sisi also praised the theatrical performance presented during the session, saying that it highlights the progress of humanity during the different times.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Monday attended the opening of the World Radiocommunication Conference, held this year in South Sinai's Sharm El Sheikh, with the presence of more than 3,5000 participants from 140 countries.
