Dr. Adel Abdel Ghaffar, media advisor and official spokesperson for the ministry, said that the list of Egyptian universities listed in the Shanghai classification witnessed progress this year, with an increase from last year, as Cairo University topped the first place at the level of Egyptian universities.
Cairo University has exceeded 92 Chinese universities, 33 Japanese universities, 12 Turkish universities, 13 Iranians and 3 Israeli universities, Khosht said.
