Visually Impaired
The Egyptian National Council for Persons with Disabilities and the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) signed a cooperation protocol to activate joint mechanisms aimed at improving telecommunications services for persons with disabilities in Egypt.
On the occasion of the White Wand Day, the Ministry of Social Solidarity released a statement detailing the services.

The Cultural Development and Community Communication Department of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities organized a guided tour for a number of visually-impaired youths at the Baron Palace in Heliopolis, in cooperation with Ain Misr Association.
The 30-minute workshop will be held on Feb. 4 at 2 p.m.
A new path tailor made for visually impaired was inaugurated in Egyptian Museum in Tahrir on June 20.
Head of the Museums Sector Elham Salah stated that the use of such cards promotes communication and sustainable development.
