Riyadh-based ACWA Power, partly owned by Saudi’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), is in talks to become a manufacturer of solar panels, Paddy Padmanathan said in an interview.
The plant, which will have capacity of 2,250 megawatts (MW), would be built in Luxor province in southern Egypt, the minister told a news conference.
