African Space Agency
series of Egyptian satellites dubbed “Next” will be launched starting from December, executive director of the Egyptian Space Agency said Saturday.
Egypt has allocated $10 million to establish the African Space Agency and cover its running expenses for the next five years, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s advisor for African affairs said on Saturday.
The African leaders, led by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, will approve the decision on the second day of the 32nd African Summit on Monday, February 11, the spokesman said.
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli met Sunday with the delegation of the AU Commission on Science and Technology to discuss ways of cooperation with Egypt.
