Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mahmoud Esmat Saturday headed to the UAE to take part in the 15th session of the Assembly of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW).
The Egyptian Cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) issued a report Monday expecting that Egypt's transition to a renewable energy system will increase the demand for metals by at least four times by the year 2040.
