Greece's government said there were "serious" indications the fire in which most of the 82 people who perished in the country's worst ever wildfires died.
The worst Greek forest fires in a decade burned at least seven people to death near Athens on Monday as they attempted to flee in their cars or on foot.
The charred remains of at least four persons were seen on the streets of a Greek village ravaged by fire on Monday evening, a Reuters witness said.
