Dawoud Abdel-Sayed, Ibrahim Abdel Megeed, Qais Azzawi receives Nile Award for the year 2022
The Supreme Council of Culture announced launching submission for the State Awards 2021/22, from October 1 to December 31.
On June 1, the Supreme Council of Culture will hold its 65th annual meeting, headed by Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem, to vote on the winners of the State Awards.
Winners will be announced in all branches of the State Awards, including the Arab Nile Award, Nile Award, Appreciation Award, Excellence Award and the Encouragement Award.
The Supreme Council of Culture holds its 64th meeting specialized for voting for the 2019 State Award winners, chaired by Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem on June 20.
The ceremony will be held in the evening of Sept. 4 at the Syndicate’s headquarters in the Cairo Opera House.
The value of the Nile Award is estimated at LE 400,000 ($24,000) and a gold medal for each winner, according to reports.
“El Asleen” (The Originals) movie won the Nile Award for Best Movie from the seventh edition of the Luxor African Film Festival.
