Certificate
The state-owned banks’ decision comes shortly after the Central Bank of Egypt reduced its key interest rate by 225 basis points last Thursday, easing ease monetary policy for the first time in four years.
Banque Du Caire issued Aman Certificates for temporary and casual workers with LE 12 million in three weeks, the bank’s chairman Tarek Fayed said.
The bank clarified that the minimum price of a certificate’s purchase is LE 5,000 and it can be multiplied by LE 1,000.
