Coptic Orthodox Cathedral
Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese led on Friday the Christmas mass at the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ in the New Administrative Capital with the participation of a number of bishops, priests and monks.
A number of ministers, senior officials, Al-Azhar Representatives, and members of the House of Representatives and Senate are scheduled to participate in the celebrations.
Cairo Cathedral held a special mass Monday to mark the first anniversary of the martyrdom of 29 Copts at the explosion of St. Peter and St. Paul church.
