Egypt, German KfW Development Bank sign agreements, grants totaling €76M

The agreements and grants aim to implement a number of projects in the electricity sector, and to promote the green transformation and transition to renewable energy, within the framework of joint bilateral cooperation between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Federal Republic of Germany.

Germany’s KfW Development Bank is providing about €1.8 billion for ongoing projects in Egypt, said director of KfW Office Cairo Burkhard Hinz.
