President Abdel Fattah al Sisi extend on Wednesday his sincere greetings to Egyptians on the 50th anniversary of the victory of October 6, 1973.
Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al Sisi said on Wednesday that “anyone who had lived through the period between 1967 and 1973 that the Egyptians have endured, would have known very well that Egypt did not only achieved victory in the war, but also ‘took a leap forward’’.”
The Tunisian president stated that the epic crossing represents an example of true sacrifice and struggle in defense of land, freedom and dignity, the statement added.
The symposium included a number of cultural and artistic performances on the October victory in the presence of high-level officials, including Minister of Defense Mohamed Zaki.
