"I extend my sincere condolences and sympathy to the brotherly State of Qatar: its Amir, government and people, on the passing of the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, may Allah the Almighty have mercy upon him," El-Sisi said in a social media post.
The Amiri Diwan prayed for Allah’s mercy on the late Father Amir and praised his lasting contributions to Qatar and the Arab and Islamic nations.
