The convoy passed through the subsidiary gate of the Rafah border crossing in Egypt’s North Sinai Governorate and is heading toward the Karm Abu Salem crossing for delivery into the enclave.
Al Qahera News correspondent from Rafah Ziad Qassem stated that the convoy carried thousands of tons of urgent food and relief supplies. These included food baskets, flour, legumes, canned meals, medical supplies, personal care items, infant formula, blankets, drinking water, and more.
The convoy includes approximately 3,000 tons of urgent humanitarian aid, including more than 2,700 tons of food aid and flour, and approximately 300 tons of medical and relief supplies. This comes within the framework of the Egyptian efforts to provide food and relief to the people of Gaza.
The convey comprises 115 trucks carrying 1,840 tons of foodstuffs, medicines, medical supplies, children’s clothes, and requirements for the elderly and people of determination.
The Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in cooperation with the Armed Forces, dispatched on Wednesday a humanitarian aid convoy to the West Bank.
