The dollar dropped to as low as 105.45 yen, near Friday’s 16-month low of 105.24 yen and last stood at 105.75 yen, down 0.35 percent on the day.
The euro slipped 0.1 percent to $1.2048.
The dollar eased against a basket of currencies on Wednesday, while commodity-linked currencies.
The dollar slipped to a more than one-week low against the yen on Wednesday, pressured by worries over possible delays to Trump's tax reform plans.
The U.S. dollar eased slightly on Monday, but clung to most of its gains following Friday's robust U.S. jobs report.
