State-owned Telecom Egypt (TE) has launched its mobile network “We” on Wednesday, to become the fourth operating network for mobile phones in Egypt.
Telecom Egypt (TE) and Orange Egypt will sign Wednesday a domestic roaming agreement which will allow the former to use the latter’s infrastructure to provide new mobile services.
Telecom Egypt (TE) expects to receive its 4G spectrum license from the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) by the end of the second quarter of 2017.
