The decision places the groups on Argentina’s Public Registry of Persons and Entities Linked to Acts of Terrorism and Its Financing (RePET).
Trump said the decisions are based on allegations including “the theft of our Assets and many other reasons, including Terrorism, Drug Smuggling, and Human Trafficking.”
The bipartisan bill, introduced by Republican Representative Mario Diaz-Balart of Florida, cleared the panel with unanimous support from Republicans and backing from about half of its Democrats.
He told Just the News on Sunday that the move will be implemented “in the strongest and most powerful terms” and that final documents are being prepared.
