2025 Parliamentary elections
Voting in the second phase of the 2025 parliamentary elections has kicked off on Monday, in 13 governorates around the country.
Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi requested the National Elections Authority on Monday to conduct a full examination and investigation into some of the events that took place in several electoral districts where individual candidates competed in the 1st phase of the 2025 parliamentary elections.
As part of Egypt’s 2025 parliamentary elections, voting will be conducted in two phases to cover all 27 governorates. First phase will include in 14 governorates including Giza, Fayoum, Beni Suef, Minya, Assiut, the New Vally, Sohag, Qena, Luxor, Aswan, the Red Sea, Alexandria, Beheira, and Matrouh.
