ICAO council
According to an ICAO statement released on Saturday, the elected states will form the 36-member Council for a three-year term. Category 2 (Part II) includes states that, while not elected under Category 1, “make the largest contribution to the provision of facilities for international civil air navigation.” The countries elected under Category 2 are: Argentina, Colombia, Denmark, Egypt, India, Mexico, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, and Switzerland.
