Seventh Mid Year Coordination Meeting
"I believe that the Africa we aspire to is not just a dream, but a tangible reality within reach, despite the numerous challenges and crises facing the continent both internally and externally.”
The leaders of Egypt and Angola met on Sunday on the sidelines of the Seventh Mid-Year Coordination Meeting (7th MYCM) of the African Union in Equatorial Guinea’s capital of Malabo, where they discussed continental peace and security.
Sisi’s participation in the coordination summit, which is usually limited to some African leaders, comes in light of Egypt's chairmanship of the North African Regional Capability and its leadership of the Steering Committee of Heads of State and Government of the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD).
