Additionally, Egypt highlighted the significance of this agreement, reached through intensive efforts in coordination with Qatar and the United States. It marks the beginning of a serious and credible political process aimed at restoring the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, particularly their right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the entire Palestinian national territory, based on the June 4, 1967 lines, with East Jerusalem as its capital. This, Egypt stressed, is the only sustainable solution capable of ending the cycles of conflict once and for all.
They also stressed their keenness towards the implementation of the agreement to stop the bloodshed of Palestinians. In this regard, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed commended Egypt's tireless efforts over the past year to protect the people of Gaza and its role in mediating the agreement.
