The Egyptian Golf Federation has announced the signing of a strategic partnership with the MENA Tour to host and relaunch the Egypt Golf Series. The series will feature four consecutive tournaments scheduled to take place at several world-class golf courses across Egypt, beginning in January 2026.
In a new milestone reflecting the growing stature of Egyptian golf on the Arab stage, Omar Hisham Talaat, President of the Egyptian Golf Federation, has been elected to the Executive Board of the Arab Golf Federation for the 2025–2029 term.
Egypt will host a series of major golf tournaments in the coming period, a move aimed at restoring the country’s prominent position in the sport globally, the head of the Egyptian Golf Federation Omar Hisham has announced.
Omar Talat Moustafa was elected president of the Egyptian Golf Federation by acclamation, the federation announced. His election, along with the entire board of directors, occurred at the federation’s general assembly meeting. The new board’s term runs from 2024 to 2028.
