Palestinian injured
A total of 50 injured Palestinians is scheduled to exit the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing to receive medical treatment abroad. The World Health Organization has welcomed the planned evacuation, marking the first medical transfer of patients through the Rafah crossing since its closure in May 2024. This evacuation is set to take place on Saturday.
On 5 November 2023, Egypt refuses to allow the evacuation of dual nationals through Rafah Border Crossing in response to Israel’s rejection of the transfer of a number of the injured from Palestinian hospitals to Egyptian counterparts, Al Qahera News.
