Military Museums
In a statement, the military said the initiative aims to promote military and national awareness among various segments of society and to highlight the achievements, heroism and sacrifices of Egyptians who gave their lives in defense of the country.
The open-air exhibition at the October War Panorama, the military museums in El Alamein and Port Said, the War Museum in the Citadel, and the Gamal Abdel Nasser Museum will be open free of charge to the public on Friday, April 25.
This comes within the framework of the Armed Forces' keenness to spread awareness and military and national culture among various segments of society and to acquaint them with the Egyptians’ glories and heroism and their sacrifices for the sake of the nation's pride and preserving its sanctity.
Simultaneously, the Armed Forces Association of Veterans and War Victims has organized an art exhibition featuring products crafted by veterans, as well as families of martyrs and those injured in war. The exhibition will remain open until March 13th.
El Alamein World War II Military Museum, Port Said Military Museum, and National War Museum in Saladin Castle will be open.
To celebrate the 4th anniversary of June 30 Revolution, military museums will be open free-of-charge to Egyptian, Arab and foreign visitors on Friday .
