Khalifa visited the Salloum land port, where he received a detailed briefing on the operational system and security measures implemented around the clock to ensure control over Egypt's western borders.
Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met on Tuesday with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, as he was briefed on latest with regard to the development of the Salloum land port, which acts as a ‘lifeline in western Egypt’ according to presidency spokesman Ahmed Fahmy.
