Egypt emphasized that the Israeli strikes constitute "a serious escalation" and "a blatant violation of Syrian sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity."
“Egypt follows with great concern the repeated attacks witnessed by the two sisterly Arab countries of Syria and Iraq over the past days from Iran and Turkey, which violate the sovereignty of each of the two countries in its lands,” the ministry said in a statement.
