Sharm El Sheikh Summit
The comments were made one day after a meeting took place between a Hamas delegation and Egyptian mediators in Cairo.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and US President Donald Trump will co-chair a global summit in Sharm El-Sheikh at noon on Monday aimed at ending the war in Gaza, the Egyptian Presidency announced.
As part of the plan, a mini-hospital and several clinics have been established in the main halls, and additional clinics have been set up in the hotels, in addition to deploying numerous equipped ambulances.
“There is no long-term prosperity without action on climate change. There is no energy security without investing in renewables. That is why I will attend COP27 next week: to deliver on Glasgow's legacy of building a secure and sustainable future,” Sunak said on Twitter.
