Moroccan child, 5 years, who was trapped in a 32-meter-deep well near Chefchaouen for around five days breathed his last on Saturday as heroic rescue teams dug a tunnel for days to reach the child.
“We pray to God who answers the troubled if he calls Him to protect the Moroccan child Ryan, and to help the rescue forces to rescue him as soon as possible, and to acknowledge his parents, family and the world to acknowledge his return safely,” Al Azhar said in a statement.
Moroccan online newspaper Hespress reported that the rescue team is only two meters away from the boy, but a small rock impedes their access to him.
