The Egyptian Open, the oldest professional golf championship in the Middle East, is returning after a 15-year hiatus, the Egyptian Golf Federation has announced, with the 2025 edition set to be held in partnership with the Asian Tour.
Egypt has received widespread praise from Arab nations for its organisation of the 2025 Pan Arab Golf Championship for Juniors and Ladies, held this month with broad participation from 12 Arab countries.
The event, described as the first and largest Arab golf event of its kind, is also serving as a platform to highlight Egypt’s ambitious vision to significantly increase its tourism revenues through golf tourism.
Cairo is preparing to host the 2025 Pan Arab Golf Championship for Juniors and Ladies from May 7 to 10, utilising the courses at Madinaty Golf Club and Katameya Dunes Golf Club, the Arab Golf Federation and the Egyptian Golf Federation have announced.
