CAIRO, Jan 25 (MENA) - Ndileka Mandela, Nelson Mandela's granddaughter, expressed on Saturday her happiness for visiting Egypt for the first time and partaking in the Cairo Book Fair.

Delivering a speech on her new book titled "I Am Ndileka: More Than My Surname," Mandela said visiting Egypt and getting to know more about its rich civilization and ancient artifacts were part of her dreams, pointing out that she would visit the Pyramids on Sunday.

She stated she has a great interest in issues connected with education, health and developing leadership skills.

This year's edition of Cairo book fair includes 808 pavilions with the participation of 900 publishing houses and 41 booths affiliated to vendors from Cairo’s Sour al-Azbakeya book market.

As many as 3,502 cultural and artistic events will be held as part of the book fair.

The book fair has launched an application for the first time to help visitors reach the publishing houses of their choice and get acquainted with all needed details on the publications.
