EgyptAir, United Airlines implement code-share agreement

CAIRO, Sept 16 (MENA) - EgyptAir said Monday it has activated a code-share agreement with the US United Airlines; a Star Alliance member.

The agreement allows EgyptAir clients to book their tickets from Washington Airport to Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago as of today.

A code-share agreement is an arrangement where two or more airlines share the same flight.

A seat can be purchased from an airline on a flight that is actually operated by another airline under a different flight number or code.
