CAIRO - 23 May 2019: EgyptAir and Ukraine International Airlines have launched a new codeshare partnership.

Together, the two airlines offer their mutual customers connections between Cairo and Kiev. The flights will be available as of Thursday on both airlines’ booking systems, allowing access to major cities on both airlines' networks.

"Kiev is one of the dynamic hubs in Eastern Europe and is one of the destinations increasingly demanded by our customers. So, we gladly announce the new cooperation with Ukraine International Airlines. Together, we will offer our customers seamless connections between Cairo International Airport, a main hub to Africa, the Middle East and the Far East, and Kiev Boryspil International Airport," said EgyptAir chairman and CEO Ahmed Adel.

"This cooperation agreement opens a new horizon for EgyptAir’s network to reach more than 20 destinations in Europe," Adel said.

"After a 15-year hiatus, Cairo was chosen to be our first scheduled flight destination in Africa," said Yuri Miroshnikov, Ukraine International Airlines president and CEO.

"We are delighted to be working with EgyptAir as our partner, not only for promoting Cairo as the 'Gateway to Egypt' but also developing traffic over EgyptAir’s Cairo hub to their network in Africa & the Middle East/Gulf," he added.
