CAIRO - 3 July 2017: With Egypt hosting the Basketball U-19 World Cup from July 1 to July 9, the South Korean team went on tour on Monday to visit Egypt’s unique places.

According to the tournament’s official Facebook page, the South Korean U-19 Basketball team thought it would be an excellent opportunity to take advantage of having no matches on Monday by touring around the country.

The South Korean team visited the Nile River and took pictures at the Corniche after eating breakfast in one of the nearby restaurants.

The South Korean team lost their first two matches against New Zealand and Argentina having only one match remaining in the group stages against the European U-19 Champions France.

Egypt is the first African country to host the U-19 Basketball World Cup. The Egyptians started the tournament with a great 67-65 victory against Puerto Rico before losing 88-50 against Lithuania on July 3.
