CAIRO – 2 July 2017: Germany faces Chile in the Confederations Cup final on Sunday at 8 p.m. Cairo local time.

The Russian Confederation Cup of 2017 began on June 17 with 8 teams from the Continental Champions. Germany managed to reach the final after qualifying in the semifinals as leaders of the group. They will face the Latin American Champions Chile, which happens to be Chile’s first participation in the tournament.

Germany enters the final with the statistics in their favor. The top scorer of the tournament is German forward Timo Werner with 3 goals from 11 attempts. Meanwhile, Chile has scored 4 times during the entire tournament, and won the semifinal against Portugal with penalty kicks.
