CAIRO-23 January 2021: Denmark, the defending champions, can secure a quarter-final spot on Saturday when they face the fifth-placed, Japan, in the second match of the main round.

The Danish players have a perfect tournament as they did not drop any point in the last four matches and they are leading the main round group with a maximum six points.

Denamrk are one of the favorites for the title and the team’s coach Nicolaj Jacobsen believes that there is still a room for improvement.

“It will be great if our best performance is yet to come,” Jacobsen said after the team’s victory over Qatar in the previous match.

On the other hand, Croatia will face Argentina in a decisive match for both teams as they are fighting for a spot in the quarter-finals.

Croatia are in a better position with five points one point ahead of Argentina.

“I watched Argentina, and it will be a difficult match. They have several good players, good wings, and a great coach. We should be humble and realise that we have to fight in order to get a positive result,” Croatia’s coach Lino Cervar said ahead of the match.

Egypt hosts the competition between 13 and 31 January 2021, with the participation of 32 teams for the first time in the competition's history.
