CAIRO-16 January 2021: Japan handball national team star Remi Anri praised the Egyptian government's efforts to organise the handball World Cup. 
 
Anri said that the success of Egypt 2021 World Cup will be a reference to the Organisers of Tokyo Olympic Games, scheduled in 2021 summer. 
 
“If this championship is a success, it will be great reference for Tokyo Olympic Games." Anri said. 
 
The participating teams expressed their happiness with the precautionary measures adopted in the tournament to combat the spread of COVID-19 and ensure safety and health of everyone.
 
Anri added "I am happy with the organization amid the current circumstances as well as all precautions in place to combat the spread of COVID-19. The 'bubble concept' has been in place to safeguard all participants,”
 
Anri led his team to a surprising 29-29 draw with Croatia in their first match in the competition as the Asian giants sent a strong message to all participants that they are ready to go far in the competition.
